Williston’s planning officials are looking at a plan to ban single-story buildings. Williston’s zoning regulations are being updated for the first time in seven years.
Among other things, they’re looking at a plan to require that new buildings in the Taft Corners District be at least two stories tall. Taft Corners is where most of Williston’s big-box stores, such as Toys ‘R’ Us and Wal-Mart, are located.
