The longest-serving state’s attorney in Windham County history is stepping
down from the job.
Dan Davis a Vermont State trooper before he began prosecuting cases in
Windham County when he was elected state’s attorney in 1986.
Some 45 to 50,000 prosecuted cases later, Davis says it’s time to call it
a career, even though still has some time left in his current 4-year term:
