Windsor County veterans groups are raising money to help their returning comrades.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and Hartford Veterans Council hosted a jamboree yesterday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in White River Junction.
The event included food and music.
Carmen Eccher of the Hartford Veterans Council says the money raised will be used for a variety of functions, including helping veterans’ families out with bills.
