A 36-year-old Huntington woman says she’s feeling stiff and still a bit in shock, but is otherwise OK after her snowmobile collided with an Amtrak train.

Authorities say the accident occurred Saturday morning, as Lori Anne Weston tried to become the last in a line of friends to cross railroad tracks in Northfield.

She says she heard a whistle but didn’t see the train in time.

Pieces of the snow machine ended up more than 100 feet down the tracks, but Weston was able to escape from the accident with just minor whiplash.
