Youth voter registration

Vermont Secretary of State Deb Markowitz is asking high schools to help students with another rite of passage during graduation: registering to vote. Markowitz says the activities surrounding commencement are a perfect opportunity to get 18-year-old seniors registered. Vermont’s youth turnout rate is lower than the national average.
